Synergies Capital is an independent investment bank based in Abidjan, advising institutions, companies and West African states on their most decisive transactions. We designed and built the firm's digital home — a site that had to read as credibly as the mandates it describes.

The brief
Financial institutions tend to look interchangeable online. Synergies Capital needed the opposite: a site that signals independence and long-term thinking to institutional clients, and presents the whole practice — who they are, their values, their services, their transactions and their subsidiaries — with the seriousness those decisions deserve.
The design
We anchored the design in a near-black canvas with a single steel-blue accent, so the firm's figures — such as the 300 billion FCFA in funds raised that they lead with — land without decoration. Headlines are set in Source Serif 4 for institutional weight, with Geist and Geist Mono carrying interface text and data. The result is restrained rather than corporate: a lot of black, a lot of space, and typography doing the persuading.
The build
Built with Next.js and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind, deployed on Vercel. The structure is content-led so the team can add transactions and subsidiaries as the practice grows, and the whole site is responsive down to the phones their clients actually read it on.
