Case study
Michèle Say
Michèle Say is a maison de création based in Côte d'Ivoire. We designed and built the house's online boutique — collections, product pages, cart and accounts — as an editorial object rather than a shop template.

The brief
A fashion house sells on presentation before it sells on price. The brief was an online boutique that feels like the collection it carries: quiet, editorial, unmistakably personal — and still a complete storefront, with search, cart, accounts and the legal pages French-language commerce requires.
The design
The identity is carried by typography. Nicolas Cochin, a high-contrast display serif, sets the wordmark and campaign lines; DM Sans handles running text and a monospace face marks the small interface labels. The palette stays in warm neutrals — ivory, stone, near-black — so the garments provide all the colour. The site opens on a still entry page before the boutique itself, which gives the brand a threshold instead of a homepage.
The build
A Next.js application in TypeScript, styled with Tailwind and deployed on Vercel: collection and product routes, search, cart and customer accounts. It ships with a public design system page documenting the type scale, colour tokens and components, so the boutique can take on new collections for years without drifting from the brand.
